Our Story

How Love Kin came to be

Love Kin was founded in 2020 by a group of young professionals who witnessed firsthand the barriers facing Nigerian youth—limited access to quality education, exclusion from financial systems, and a lack of supportive communities.

What started as a weekend mentorship program in Lagos has grown into a nationwide platform serving thousands of young people. Our Community Bank has disbursed over ₦50 million in microloans. Our street soccer leagues operate in 12 cities. Our training courses have certified over 2,500 youth in digital skills.

But numbers only tell part of the story. The real impact is in the young woman who started her fashion business with a ₦200,000 loan. The teenager who found his confidence on the soccer pitch. The researcher whose paper influenced local policy. These are the stories that drive us forward.
